The BEST DAY EVER! I can’t believe 1 1/2 years have flown by since our wedding date, so I thought it would be fun to share all of the little details from our special day. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day. This day was everything I dreamed of and more. We got married on November 16th at The Barn at Swallow’s Eve in Fredericksburg, Texas. Our wedding was very simple. The theme was boho meets rustic with whites, pastel pink, rose gold and LOTS of greenery. It turned out to be so beautiful. I could relive this day a million times!
For our décor we used gold lanterns, photos of us, handmade signs, and very simple flower arrangements. My bridesmaid dresses were from Show Me Your Mumu. I gave the color to my bridesmaids (Vintage Rose) and they were able to choose which style they wanted. We had a buffet style barbecue dinner from Smoke in the Hills BBQ, but one of my absolute favorite details from our wedding is our dessert. I grew up an East Texas girl that loves PIE. As my grandpa likes to say, “I like two kinds of pie…hot and cold.” So we opted for pie instead of cake at our wedding – best decision ever! We served tiny mason jars of pie from Tiny Pies and scoops of vanilla ice cream. They were adorable AND delicious. We danced the night away and enjoyed late night breakfast tacos – my husband’s favorite.
Most importantly, all of our favorite people were in one place celebrating our love for ONE night. I love all of our photos by Tank Goodness Photography (Travis also did our engagement photos – he’s AMAZING), but if I had to choose just one, it would be the photo looking into the barn at night. I can remember this moment looking into the barn feeling as if life was in slow motion for just a moment realizing that everyone we love was there supporting us. This night was truly magical.
