We hosted a backyard BBQ this summer and the tables turned out so dreamy I had to share the details. Since we have been working on renovations in our backyard (whew, it’s been a lot of WORK), I have been looking for reasons to host back there. I may have been a little eager, because we chose the warmest time of year, but we enjoyed great company, yummy food, and a pretty table nevertheless!
Next year, I will definitely choose to host the BBQ earlier in the year (probably April or early May) before it gets too incredibly hot in Austin, Texas. I will also be ordering some sort of device to keep the flies away – if you have any suggestions send them my way.
The blue and white plaid paired with lemons and hydrangeas lining the long table made for the perfect, light and airy tablescape.
