The holidays are here and decorating has begun. The room I am most excited about this year is Hayden’s nursery. I have always dreamed of the day I could share the holidays with my little one. I cannot wait to see the joy of the holidays through Hayden’s eyes for the very first time. I want to do everything I can to make this season as special as possible.

Adding some Christmas cheer to your little one’s space can make the holidays even more magical. The past few nights we have enjoyed turning on Hayden’s Christmas tree lights, pointing at the ornaments, and looking at his snow globe together before bed time.
For Hayden’s tree we used a five foot pre-lit flocked tree with light blue ribbon to match his nursery colors. We added some hints of baseball with some baseball ornaments and added more light blue with some adorable light blue truck ornaments.
Another easy way to add a little holiday magic is to switch out the usual books on your child’s bookshelf with holiday books instead. I visited our local Half-Price Books and searched Amazon for plenty of Christmas books to fill his bookshelf. We also added some pom-pom Christmas garland from Hobby Lobby to make it even more festive!
