“I have taken a break from blogging recently and this year I am finally dipping my toes back into the blogging world. That being said, since we just celebrated Hayden’s second birthday, I thought it was appropriate to finally share his first birthday.
We celebrated Hayden’s first birthday with a “Rookie of the Year” theme. It was the best day filled with family, friends, lots of baseball, and the most delicious cake. We served traditional baseball game snacks like hot dogs, corn dogs, popcorn, and Cracker Jacks. Hayden loved his baseball smash cake and we even had a “Dad’s Rookie Year” cake for Eric since it was also his birthday!
Fun fact: My birthday is on January 11th, Hayden’s birthday is on January 12th, and Eric’s birthday is on January 14th. So, this week in January is filled with birthday fun and I decided to make it a tradition to have a small cake for Eric at Hayden’s birthday party every year as well.
